Wondercraft launches AI “Ad Studio”
Creative audio studio Wondercraft is today unveiling the world’s first AI “Ad Studio” which will power end-to-end audio ad production for creative teams in one simple platform.
The product release is the biggest since the company launched in February this year and has been designed to give creative teams at agencies, studios and brands the tools to produce, iterate and translate studio-quality audio ads in seconds simply by typing. It’s already being embraced by production studios including Audacia Audio, Acast, and Audio Ad Pro, and is being trialed by many of the world’s best recognized audio brands.
Dubbed “Canva for Audio” for its ability to radically simplify audio production, Wondercraft came out of Beta in February this year and has already attracted 40,000 users from all over the world.
How does Wondercraft’s Ad Studio work?
- Creative - Wondercraft’s Ad Studio enables creatives to go from creative ideas to finished audio in seconds. Users can write copy and scripts from scratch or generate ideas using a library of prompts, quickly bringing ideas to life.
- Production - Brands can give a voice to their copy by choosing from hundreds of options covering multiple languages, accents and emotions. Using “Parrot Mode” creatives can direct AI voices to deliver lines with a specific tone or intonation to achieve their creative vision.
- Editing - A powerful new timeline editor enables users to easily adjust voice speed, perform voice-over retakes, and enrich their production using a vast library of music and sound effects, ensuring a polished and professional final product.
- Collaboration - With built-in commenting and approval workflows, brands and creatives can collaborate seamlessly in a single interface, reducing friction and shortening the production process from weeks to hours.
- Localization - Brands can use Wondercraft to localize audio ads for multiple markets. Existing audio ads can also be uploaded and translated into over thirty languages in seconds.

Wondercraft’s co-founder Oskar Serrander comments: “We’re finally making it possible for brands to produce audio at the speed of culture.
"This is a big update: audio and voice-over creation is at Wondercraft users’ fingertips. What has notoriously been a lengthy and expensive process can now be accomplished in minutes, at a fraction of the cost with no compromise on quality. Creatives can produce endless variations of copy, voices, music, sfx and languages, meaning ad campaigns can be tailored and deployed across multiple markets with ease.
“By streamlining creative production we’re enabling brands and agencies to explore innovative ideas which will help the audio industry grow. We want to see podcast, radio, and music-streaming companies move into a position where they can compete with the likes of Alphabet, Meta and Tiktok in the advertising world. Today marks a huge step in that direction.”
Kym Treasure, CEO at Audacia Audio, comments: "At Audacia Audio we’ve found Wondercraft to be an indispensable partner in our audio advertising campaigns. Their intuitive interface simplifies the process of crafting professional audio adverts in any language. From copywriting to voice cloning, translation and background music selection, their tools provide unparalleled flexibility and quality. The technology has enabled us to create a quantity and quality of audio ads for clients we could not have come close to otherwise, so our clients can focus their energy and budgets on marketing and monetisation. Our clients have been excited and receptive to the power of this new technology to drive fast audio ad production and iteration for multiple international markets and customer segments.”
Founded by former Palantir engineers Dimitris Nikolaou and Youssef Rizk, and former COO at Acast and executive at Spotify and iHeartmedia Oskar Serrander, the platform enables anyone to script, voice and produce audio for podcasts, ads and audiobooks in any language, simply by typing. A suite of team collaboration tools make it easy for creative teams at ad agencies and brands to work together on audio projects with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
In February this year, Wondercraft announced a $3m Seed round led by Will Ventures, Y Combinator, ElevenLabs, Steven Bartlett and other angels. They operate around the world from offices in London and New York.
