AdLarge Welcomes Stupid Things for Love to Podcast Network
AdLarge, a leader in podcast advertising sales, proudly welcomes Stupid Things for Love to its podcast lineup. This addition enriches our collection with authentic storytelling and the raw influence of unfiltered perspectives with some of the biggest names in celebrity and pop culture today. Through candid discussions, host Scott Campbell, an internationally acclaimed tattoo artist, creates a deeply empathetic and secure environment for guests, inviting them to share their vulnerabilities and intimate narratives, regardless of their level of fame or recognition. From personal struggles to triumphant moments, Stupid Things for Love offers an unassuming platform for real people to connect and relate.
Louisiana-born Scott Campbell is known worldwide as one of the most influential figures in tattooing. He began tattooing at the age of 19 in San Francisco, where he worked at one of the oldest street shops in California. His career started with the nicotine-stained designs of 90’s biker gangs until moving to the legendary Saved Tattoo in Williamsburg, Brooklyn – which brought him to the attention of some of the most prestigious galleries and museums worldwide and led him to tattoo numerous award-winning actors, billionaire art collectors, even leaders of nations.
In the 27 years he’s been tattooing, Scott Campbell has earned the confidence of a clientele that spans the spectrum of humanity, from biker gang hit men and Mexican cartel families, to feral punk kids and sunburnt Florida tourists; from billionaire art collectors and household names including Jennifer Aniston, Robert Downey Jr., and Johnny Depp.
Each week on Stupid Things for Love, Scott chats with guests from all walks of life to learn about their careers, life experiences, personal stories, and more. Debut episodes include interviews with some of the most recognizable celebrities today; Tony Hawk, Designer; Marc Jacobs, and Music Producer, Benny Blanco. The trust placed in Scott’s hands offers a rare and yielding look into people’s lives; Stupid Things for Love is a documentation of finding ways to love both the likely and unlikely characters that come into life.
Campbell commented on the announcement, “I’ve always felt that my job is connecting with people, and the tattoo people walk away with is just an artifact from the ceremony that we hold together. In the years I’ve been tattooing, the way I communicate my art to the public is just a post on instagram, and with this show I’m excited to share the intimacy and appreciation of my clients, which I feel is the real value I bring to the craft.”
Episodes drop weekly every Monday.
