Press Release ·

The Weeniecast, the popular podcast that champions ADHD small business owners and entrepreneurs, is celebrating the release of its 100th episode – by calling out a well-trodden neurotypical ‘hack’ for its ineffectiveness for ADHD people.

Hosted by business strategist and ADHD advocate Katie McManus, and produced and managed by Podknows Podcasting, the show has rapidly grown a loyal following, offering essential insights, strategies, and relatable stories to help neurodivergent business owners thrive.

Launched in 2022, The Weeniecast provides a unique blend of humor, actionable advice, and encouragement to ADHD entrepreneurs navigating the complexities of starting and growing their businesses.

Katie’s own experience as a successful ADHD-preneur serves as the foundation for the podcast, helping listeners turn their neurodivergent tendencies into business superpowers.

The milestone 100th episode marks a significant achievement for the podcast, which has seen exponential growth in its audience since its inception with thousands of new listeners clicking play every month.

Katie McManus reflects, “When I started The Weeniecast, it was my goal to create a space where ADHD entrepreneurs could feel seen, understood, and empowered. Reaching 100 episodes with around ten times the number of listeners since we started means we’re not only achieving that goal but also inspiring a community of business owners to embrace their uniqueness and build successful ventures through our spin-off ‘Hyperfocused’ community.”

In its 100 episodes, The Weeniecast has tackled a wide range of topics, from managing ADHD in business, dealing with overwhelm, to setting boundaries with both neurotypical and ADHD clients.

Through raw, honest conversations, Katie has also addressed mental health challenges, time management, and the importance of better education for young people with ADHD.

The show’s unique format and Katie’s candid style resonates deeply with listeners.

“Katie is a brilliant and funny truth teller. Her style of telling you what you need to hear, with fun and entertaining side bars is exactly what you need when building a business. She’s the business BFF that absolutely everyone needs,” says one dedicated listener.

Neal Veglio, founder of Podknows Podcasting and the executive producer of the show (which has plans to expand into a television format next year) said, “When Katie first approached me with her idea for this show, I knew she was onto something special. Over the course of our 100 episodes, we’ve realised not only how much we’re enjoying making the show, but also the level of impact its having on our dedicated listeners and followers.”

As part of the 100th episode celebration, The Weeniecast is also launching a weekly “Weeniecast ADHD Entrepreneur Success Toolkit”, available free to listeners on the episode’s website and inside the description.

The toolkit will feature a curated selection of resources to help ADHD business owners with the specific topic covered in that episode.
