VICE Studios builds out leadership team
VICE Studios, the global division of VICE Media and creative force behind Gangs of London, has named Adam Kassan as EVP, Scripted Film and Television, Cat Lawson, EVP of Unscripted and promoted Claire Marshall to Head of International Scripted. In addition, Paul Randle has been promoted to Managing Director, VICE Studios UK, and Global Head of Business Affairs. The announcement was made by VICE Studios President Amy Powell, to whom all four will report.

Kassan will spearhead the studio’s global scripted strategy out of the Los Angeles office, developing bold, premium, and authentic stories that are culturally specific yet universally ambitious. He brings decades of experience from top creative and executive roles, including President of Film & TV at Khalabo Ink Society, EVP at 6th & Idaho, and positions at Cross Creek Pictures, Scott Free, Paramount Pictures, Plan B Entertainment, and Miramax. His credits include acclaimed series and features such as End of Watch, Black Mass, Tales from the Loop, Away, Mother/Android, Lift, and more.

Based in the UK, Lawson will oversee the unscripted team across the global studio. She joins from Remarkable Entertainment, part of Banijay UK, where she served as Joint Managing Director and was instrumental in shaping the company’s creative direction across entertainment. In addition to her leadership role, she was showrunner and co‑creator of Netflix’s Building the Band and Showrunner/Executive Producer across All Together Now, Ready Steady Cook, Sunday Brunch and two series of ITV’s singing show Starstruck, as well as EP on the ITV reboot of Deal or no Deal. She previously served as Creative Director at Studio Lambert and Two Four. Her freelance credits include Love Island, The X Factor, Big Brother, I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here, The Million Pound Drop and Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.
Also in the UK, Claire Marshall, promoted to Head of International Scripted, oversees the development and production of scripted projects across the studio’s international portfolio and is currently executive producing season four of Gangs of London. She previously ran the TV arm of Benedict Cumberbatch’s SunnyMarch, executive producing Patrick Melrose and developing projects for Disney, Channel 4, Sky, BBC, HBO and Amazon. She also served as Head of Development at Origin Pictures and has held roles at Film4 and Channel 4 Drama, including producing Coming Up and working on Skins for E4.
Joe Ingham has been promoted to Creative Director, Unscripted in the UK, he will continue to develop and produce ambitious formats and help shape the creative direction of all unscripted content. His recent credits include Ross Kemp: Lost Boys, Deadly Men (Hearst Networks), EastEnders: 40 Years on the Square (BBC One), Into the Void (Hulu), Maternity Broken Trust (ITV), and the upcoming Soccer’s American Dream (VICE TV). He previously held roles at Lightbox Productions, Fremantle, and Endemol Shine UK. Rosie Taylor continues as Head of Production, Unscripted, leading the studio’s unscripted production slate across genres and markets. Her recent credits include Ross Kemp: Lost Boys, Deadly Men (Hearst Networks), EastEnders: 40 Years on the Square (BBC One), The Many Deaths of Nora Dalmasso (Netflix), Maternity Broken Trust (ITV), Stolen Gold (ESPN), and Omar and Cedric: If This Ever Gets Weird.
Dixie Linder continues out of the UK as President of Cuba Pictures, the label acquired by VICE from Curtis Brown in 2025, known for the Emmy-winning McMafia and recent RTE and BBC hit series The Walsh Sisters, where she shepherds projects from talented artists and distinct literary voices. Bianca Gavin continues as Head of Production, Scripted overseeing Gangs of London, currently in production on its fourth season. She currently serves as the Chair of the Production Guild of Great Britain and previously held roles at Amazon and Sky. Newly promoted Scripted Development Producer Amir Amirsolimani rounds out the team with sharp cultural insight and bold creative vision, with past experience at SunnyMarch, Merman and Left Bank Pictures.
The U.S. leadership team is anchored by Vice Presidents of Scripted Eben Davidson, in Los Angeles, and Dakota DeBellis in New York. Davidson joins from Empress Films, where he served as showrunner on the upcoming docuseries Killing Grounds: The Gilgo Beach Murders (Prime Video). He previously worked at Invisible Narratives, producing Songbird (STX), at Blumhouse Television overseeing Into The Dark (Hulu), and The Purge(USA), and spent more than 15 years at Paramount overseeing notable films including Arrival, Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, Jackass 3D, Justin Bieber: Never Say Never and the television series The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann (Netflix). DeBellis brings experience in creative, production and development from WME, CAA, Brillstein Entertainment Partners and Play Book Productions, where she won two Tonys and contributed to the development of Blink Twice and Station Eleven. Guillermo Garciacontinues as Head of Production, North America, based out of Toronto, where he shepherds notable projects including the Canadian Screen Award nominated series Dark Side of the Ring (VICE TV), Into the Void (Hulu), Dark Side of the Cage (VICE TV) the recently Grammy nominated Devo (Netflix), and Hollywood Hustler: Glitz, Glam, Scam(Prime Video).
Paul Randle has been promoted to Managing Director, VICE Studios UK, and Global Head of Business Affairs, ensuring smooth global operations across the studio. His previous experience includes House Productions, Amazon Studios and NBCUniversal. Nate Brown has also been named Chief Financial Officer for the studio, joining from Anonymous Content and with previous experience at Vudu, VICE Media, Broad Green Pictures and Relativity.
With a $75 million production facility backed by Western Alliance Bank and Fortress Investment Group, VICE Studios is set to invest up to $500 million in original content across scripted, unscripted and branded content over the next three to five years. The studio’s momentum extends across formats with the recent investigative factual series Ross Kemp: Lost Boys, Deadly Men (Hearst Networks) and critically-acclaimed docuseries Out of Bounds (VICE TV), and development announced for the creator-led series Clip Bait with V10 (America’s Funniest Home Videos). Franchise expansion is underway for its signature series Gangs of London and the studio recently acquired the worldwide adaptation rights for the iconic gaming franchise PAYDAY with partners at Starbreeze Entertainment.
