Uinta Triangle – A New Investigative Podcast From the Creator of True Crime Hit “COLD”

Press Release · Los Angeles, CA, USA ·

Lemonada Media, the award-winning podcast network that makes life suck less, together with KSL Podcasts, the creators of the renowned podcast “COLD,” today announced the launch of Uinta Triangle. Hosted by Dave Cawley, the creator and host of “COLD,” the 9-part series retraces the global journeys of hiker Eric Robinson, which culminated in his mysterious disappearance in Utah’s remote High Uintas Wilderness.

An experienced solo adventurer, Eric Robinson spent years walking some of the world’s most iconic trails, from Nepal to Patagonia, in search of peace and healing after personal loss. But in 2011, after setting out on a hike through the rugged backcountry of the American West, Eric vanished without a trace. His wife, Marilyn, was left searching for answers about what happened to the man she loved.

“This story started with a simple question: what happened to Eric Robinson? That launched me on a worldwide hunt for answers, trying to understand how such an experienced and well-prepared hiker could just vanish,” said host Dave Cawley. “Uinta Triangle is part investigation, part adventure journal, part human drama. It’s a celebration of Eric Robinson’s love of nature, and a meditation on the pitfalls of facing the outdoors alone.”

“Uinta Triangle” follows Cawley as he retraces Eric’s final steps, crossing continents and combing through remote landscapes to uncover what might have happened in those mountains. Along the way, the podcast explores the emotional toll of uncertainty and the enduring bond between those who trek through the wilderness and those who wait at home.

“No one works harder or goes to greater lengths than Dave to research a story,” said Sheryl Worsley, Vice President of Podcasts at KSL Podcasts. “Uinta Triangle is much more than a “lost in the woods” story, it’s also about the lengths people will go to find answers about their loved ones and the trails that call to them.”

“We were gripped by this story from the first time KSL shared it with us, and what we loved most about it was how strongly it paints a picture of all the people involved in this mystery, including Eric and his wife,” shared Jessica Cordova Kramer, CEO of Lemonada Media. “Collaborating with the KSL team is always a wonderful opportunity for us to help elevate truly top-notch storytelling.”

“Uinta Triangle’' is a production of KSL Podcasts and Lemonada Media. The companies previously collaborated on the hit true crime podcast, “The Letter.” Listen to the first episode of “Uinta Triangle” today wherever you get your podcasts. New episodes are released on Tuesdays.
