“Two Peas on a Pod” Explores the Psychology Behind Friendship in New Celebrity and Expert Interview Podcast Launching May 21 on Podcast Nation
In a cultural moment increasingly defined by loneliness and evolving definitions of connection, a new podcast turns its focus to one of the most essential yet under-examined forces in modern life: friendship.
Two Peas on a Pod, a weekly interview-style podcast centered on the power of platonic connection, launches May 21st in partnership with Podcast Nation (The Telepathy Tapes, Sorry We’re Cyrus). Hosted by clinical psychologist and friendship expert, Dr. Miriam Kirmayer, whose work has been featured in The New York Times and Time Magazine. The series explores the emotional, psychological, and cultural dynamics that shape our closest friendships.
Created by Zoe Travis, of Secret Weapon, and television host and producer Matthew Hoffman (Cheap A-$ Beach Houses, Love Island USA), the format brings together celebrity friends, researchers, and cultural voices in candid conversations about how friendships are formed, sustained, and transformed over time.
Two Peas on a Pod is repped by Alison Chesneau at UTA. Executive Producers: Dr. Miriam Kirmayer, Matthew Hoffman, and Secret Weapon’s Zoe Travis and Katya Kaminsky, in partnership with Podcast Nation. Secret Weapon is repped by Anthony DiBiase at IAG.
