San Francisco CA, USA—TuneIn announced today the launch of Pod Club, a podcast series designed to give listeners a new way to discover favorite podcasts from some of the most well-known and respected podcasters.
While TuneIn has been building a strong editorial presence in the podcast space for years, Pod Club marks the first time it’s opening the floor to the podcasters themselves, providing them with a platform to spotlight their favorite podcasts to TuneIn listeners. Pod Club listeners also benefit as they have the opportunity to learn about great new podcasts from trusted sources. While there are other feature programs on TuneIn, Pod Club is the first that is centered around exclusive content.
“As podcasts grow in popularity, the value of discovery continues to rise,” said Ryan Auffenberg, Director of Marketing at TuneIn. “Pod Club is unique in that it provides podcasters with the opportunity to showcase their favorite podcasts to fans. And for listeners, what better way to hear about new podcasts than from leaders in the field?”
