Saylor Launches New Podcast: This Could Work
Saylor, the Los Angeles–based creative agency known for crafting entertainment-led advertising, recently launched This Could Work, a new podcast exploring big ideas, creative risk-taking, and the people pushing culture—and brands—forward.
Hosted by Saylor Founder & CEO Will Trowbridge, This Could Work features candid, no-fluff conversations with founders, creatives and industry leaders who have taken big swings—and lived to tell the story. Each episode dives into the real highs, lows and lessons behind ambitious ideas, focusing on how creativity, culture and entertainment intersect in today’s evolving media landscape.
“This Could Work is about the moments before something works – when it’s still risky, messy and uncertain,” said Trowbridge. “We’re not chasing highlight reels or hustle myths. We wanted to create a space for honest conversations about what it really takes to build bold ideas, including the stumbles, pivots and recoveries that rarely get talked about.”
Guests to date include:
- Marc Simons, co-founder of Giant Spoon
- Myles Worthington, founder of Worthi
- Jayde I. Powell, Creator
- Kevin Prince, Heads in the Sky
- Michael Hundgen, VP of Creative at Walt Disney Imagineering
This Could Work is executive produced by Rae Votta, former Head of Podcasts at Netflix, where she built the company’s global audio strategy from the ground up. During nearly a decade at Netflix, Votta launched the company’s first podcast and grew the platform into a dedicated division. She executive-produced more than 50 award-winning audio-first and video podcast projects, while also supporting marquee titles like The Crown, Stranger Things, and genre projects like Netflix Is a Joke.
The podcast is produced and edited by Corey Lubowich, a writer, director, producer and a founding member of Tin Can Bros and StarKid Productions. His work spans film, television, theater, and award-winning audio projects.
Trowbridge’s own entrepreneurial journey mirrors the spirit of the podcast. After spending his career in-house at Netflix and The Walt Disney Company, he set out to create the “agency he always wanted to work with,” and launched Saylor. In just four years, the agency has become one of the fastest-growing in the industry – earning recognition on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s Fastest Growing Companies, Adweek’s Fastest Growing Agencies list and as an Ad Age Small Agency of the Year.
