Award-winning Australian podcaster, Mamamia, launches ‘The Undone’
PRESS RELEASE · Sydney NSW, Australia ·
Twenty-somethings Emily Vernem and Lucy Neville co-host The Undone, with launch partner Toyota Yaris Cross.
Australia’s largest independent podcaster, Mamamia, has grown to become the world’s biggest women’s podcast network, recently passing 100 million downloads, and it’s expanding again with a new offering ‘The Undone.’
Co-hosted by local talent Emily Vernem and Lucy Neville, who share an inner city flat and a workplace in Mamamia, the podcast will candidly dissect life’s big issues from a twenty-something’s perspective. From sex and dating ‘garbage fires,’ to politics, money, identity and health, The Undone is made by Gen Zs at Mamamia, for Gen Zs.
“It’s very exciting to have talent in-house like Em and Lucy. As soon as we heard their tests we knew there was something special in their chemistry and honesty,” said Mia Freedman, Mamamia Media Company Co-founder. “As a brand we’re about making every kind of woman feel seen, heard and understood, and with The Undone we’re doing just that for the first generation who have become adults in the age of social media.”
The Undone has been snapped up by launch partner, Toyota Yaris Cross, via media agency TMS. Toyota Yaris Cross is featuring across co-branded promotional materials onsite and social, as well as in show segments voiced by the hosts.
Toyota Australia Chief Marketing Officer, John Pappas, said the combination of Toyota’s all-new Yaris Cross with The Undone podcast is the perfect pairing.
“The Yaris Cross embodies fresh style with a game-changing presence, which we believe will really complement Emily and Lucy as they embark on this new adventure together.
“We’re thrilled to be part of Mamamia’s new offering and are very much looking forward to tuning in,” he said.
The Undone drops every Thursday from 19th November. Listen at mamamia.com.au/podcasts or in your favourite podcast app.
