Wonder launches The Moment
PRESS RELEASE — July 17, 2019
From Wondery, the network that brought you Dirty John and Over My Dead Body, comes a series where no one dies! That’s right, starting July 10 Wondery brings you a romantic comedy series where couples share their story about THE MOMENT that defined their relationships from meet-cutes to wedding planning and those rom-com obstacles in between. Through a mix of interviews and comic insight, newly-engaged host Ingrid Haas (Key and Peele and Chelsea Lately) will speak to people with incredible story arcs while tackling questions about love, relationships and commitment.
About The Moment:
Boy meets girl. Boy loses girl. Girl marries girl. Boy gets girl back, but then her family can’t stand him. Wondery’s new series is all about love, relationships, and the sometimes bumpy road to commitment. Host Ingrid Haas (Chelsea Lately, Key and Peele) recently got engaged herself, and she will explore stories from real couples to learn what went wrong, and how they finally got it right. She’ll recount surprise engagements featuring pop stars and tense wedding ceremonies. And she’ll look for answers to the questions that keep us up at night: Will I ever find someone? If I like it, will I put a ring on it? And how the hell does anyone get to happily ever after anyway?
Begin your summer with episode one that tells the story of Ross & Alex…and Taylor Swift. Over 12 episodes this first season, Ingrid and guests will tell stories of grand gestures, finances, wedding planning, in-laws and moving for love.
