The Line-Up - a new podcast celebrating the world of festivals from broadcaster Shaun Keaveny
This article is at least a year old
The Line-Up is a new podcast where its music-loving guests get the chance to curate their very own dream festival - with the power to decide every step from the moment they rise until their head hits their inflatable pillow.
Joining them for the day of antics is podcast host and festival veteran Shaun Keaveny, one of the UK’s most distinguished broadcasters. Each episode will see Shaun discussing with his guest their favourite festival memories (as well as their less favourable ones), who tops the bill on their dream line up, their food & drink of choice and the all important question - are they brave enough to face the infamous festival portaloos? No story is too off limits and no conversation too off topic, The Line-Up will showcase each guests true passions and musical spirit.
Stepping up to the festival hot seat includes globally renowned musicians such as Imagine Dragons, Manic Street Preachers and Tom Grennan, blockbuster actors in Jodie Whittaker and the wittiest comedians such as Shaparak Khorsandi.
Shaun Keaveny was an instrumental part of the BBC 6 Music family for nearly 15 years, interviewing the most prestigious names in the music industry and further afield. Later this month he is co-hosting live coverage of the Isle of Wight Festival 2021 for Sky Arts, and he recently announced he is joining Absolute Radio for their comedy show, Rockanory.
The Line-Up kicks off on Wednesday 15th September with Imagine Dragons. For more information and to subscribe, head to www.cupandnuzzle.com.
