The Back 9 gets to episode 100
3Bridges Consulting proudly congratulates The Back 9 Podcast on achieving a major milestone: its 100th episode. In a landscape where most podcasts fade long before finding their rhythm, _The Back 9, a podcast dedicated to helping people find happiness and success in the second half — the Back 9 — of life,_ continues to grow, engage, and deliver authentic, entertaining conversations to its listeners week after week.
Since its launch, The Back 9 Podcast has released 99 episodes, including 81 with guests. Four of those episodes have featured multiple guests, bringing the total guest count to 85. The show has hosted a diverse mix of personalities and perspectives of middle age life, from the lighthearted fun of the Friends Without Benefits to thought-provoking first-hand accounts of grief and sobriety, as well as special appearances by entertainment and sports icons such as Dan Patrick, Nick Bakay and Annika Sörenstam.
The accomplishment stands out in a challenging medium. Research shows that nearly 90% of podcasts never make it past episode three, and roughly 60% quit within the first six months. Many vanish between episodes 3 and 20, often before completing their first year. Only 8–10% of podcasts ever reach 50 episodes and just 4–5% achieve the 100-episode mark that The Back 9 celebrates today.
The Back 9 Podcast was co-created and is co-hosted by Winter Garden, FL resident Josh Mora and Delray Beach, FL resident Dennis Williams. They record their podcast atStellaMix studios in Delray Beach, with Producer Janine Stella.
“Reaching 100 episodes is no small feat,” said Williams, one of the Founders at 3Bridges Consulting. “It’s a reflection of consistency, creativity, and community, the very qualities that make The Back 9 Podcast special. We’re honored to celebrate this moment with them.”
“We hear from people from all walks of life who tell us that our podcast has helped them re-envision what their Back 9 can look like,” Mora added. “Weare incredibly motivated to help our present and future listeners continue forward on that pathway”.
The Back 9 Podcast continues to embody what great storytelling and genuine dialogue can do: connect people, spark laughter, and inspire reflection. 3Bridges Consulting looks forward to seeing what’s next as the show tees off for its next 100 episodes.
