Talks.co launches double opt-in matching to end spammy podcast pitches
Podcast hosts are drowning in cold pitches. Talks.co, a free tool designed for podcasters, just launched a double-opt-in matching system that flips the script, letting hosts and guests match only when there’s mutual interest. No more inbox spam, no more sorting through irrelevant messages.
Key features include:
- Hosts create a free profile in minutes (auto-generated from their podcast link)
- Hosts are shown a list of relevant guests interested in being on their show
- Hosts choose who to connect with. No pressure, no cold DMs or spammy pitches.
We built it after hearing the same frustrations over and over:
“My inbox is full of bad podcast pitches.”
“I’m wasting hours sorting through generic guest pitches.”
“I literally stopped opening cold pitches, it’s just too much.”
“I want real conversations, not templated sales pitches.”
“I’m spending too much time replying to pitches that aren’t even relevant.”
The platform is live now with a free plan for hosts at Talks.co. All profiles include a short shareable link (e.g. talks.co/yourpodcast) and a built-in guest interest tracker.
