Commercial Music Licensing Platform SyncFloor Celebrates its 100th Partner

Press Release ·

This article is at least a year old

The demand for high-quality, fully licensed indie music is growing by leaps and bounds, as more apps, ads, films, and physical spaces seek out unique voices and reasonable, simple music licensing. Part of this groundswell, SyncFloor has signed on its 100th partner, UK-based Hospital Records. The label joins several other notable recent additions, including frtyfve (frtyfve.com), Mind of a Genius (mindofagenius.com), and Park the Van (parkthevan.com). These partners are joining a community of distributors, agencies, fitness/wellness apps, and other innovators who know that supporting talented artists via sync and licensing opportunities benefits everyone.

SyncFloor has created a platform for curation and licensing administration that turns this understanding into great musical experiences, whether that means putting together the perfect playlist for a virtual fitness class, empowering podcasters to find the right music, or setting up a dead-simple way for catalog holders to offer great tracks for fast syncs. Clients can draw on SyncFloor’s 22K track catalog of select, diverse independent music, or use their own catalog and present it in novel, engaging, sync-sparking ways.

“We’ve built a powerful set of tools that let creators find, curate, and license music incredibly easily,” says Kirt Debique, co-founder and CEO of SyncFloor. “We’ve proven that licensing and discovery for commercial purposes can be simplified and scaled, without losing the thrill and creativity of finding and using amazing music.”

“Several years ago, Kirt demonstrated Syncfloor to my team who quickly adopted its usage,” recalls John Drawbaugh, Head of Production at Argonaut. “We’ve found it profoundly helpful in not only finding a licensed track or having a track scored but more importantly as a tool to help hone the musical direction for our creative. It’s ease of use from search through licensing makes it a game changer. I can’t wait to see what Syncfloor does in the near and far future.”

“SyncFloor has created a turn-key, branded portal to some of the most amazing, unique music we have, music that could be the right fit for a lot of productions and projects,” says Chris Dampier, Vice President, TuneCore Publishing. “We’re excited to bring our artists to more production professionals and serve both sides by making great music easy to discover.”

“The SyncFloor team has been absolutely incredible in training and empowering our trainers to elevate their classes through music,” says Kelly Froelich, co-founder at Balanced. “Thank you for demystifying music licensing and making it so simple!”
