LeagueFits launches highly-anticipated podcast 'Survival of the Fitted' for fans on June 8

LeagueFits, the world’s go-to Instagram account for NBA/WNBA fashion and culture, is launching a podcast entitled Survival of the Fitted on Tuesday, June 8th on the Tidal League Podcast Network. The podcast is hosted by LeagueFits creative producer Ian Pierno and super intern Joe Williams and is a co-production between SLAM and Tidal League. The show will highlight the collision/intersection of basketball, fashion and culture with guests that include the most fashionable athletes, designers, stylists, and influencers in the game. The premiere episode will feature guest Austin Rivers (6/8), with future episodes already recorded with Ty Young (6/15), Tyrese Haliburton (6/22), Elijah Hughes (6/29), and Michael Carter-Williams (7/6) dropping every Tuesday.

For many players around the league, such as Russell Westbrook, P.J. Tucker, Kyle Kuzma, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, arena entry fashion coverage has become a defining piece of their growing marketing profiles. The tunnel is now the runway, with the 60-second walk that players take from the parking lot to the locker room serving as the ultimate stage for self-expression. ‘Survival of the Fitted’ is a natural extension of this scene, offering weekly coverage in a 30-minute podcast format for LeagueFits fans and anyone else who follows fashion around the game.
