8 Kids Podcasts Launch Listening Challenge to Turn Up the Volume on Summer Fun

This summer, eight standout kids podcasts are joining forces to invite young listeners on a screen-free adventure with the launch of the Summer Listening Challenge, a fresh take on classic library summer reading programs. Like their literary counterparts, the challenge encourages kids to stay curious and engaged all summer long—but this time, with their ears.

The challenge brings together beloved shows What If World, Koala Shine, Stoopkid Stories, Girl Tales, Dorktales Storytime, Culture Kids, By Kids For Kids, and The Weekly Roar by The Ten News.

How the Challenge Works

Kids are invited to listen to two episodes from each of the eight featured podcasts, for a total of 16 engaging, screen-free stories and adventures. As they listen, they can track their progress using a fun, downloadable tracker designed just for the challenge. Everyone who participates will receive a certificate of achievement, and those who complete all 16 episodes by August 15 will be rewarded with exclusive congratulatory videos from all eight podcast hosts—cheering them on for a job well done.
