Studio71, a Red Arrow Studios company, has announced that it is reopening the doors to their 18,000-square-foot studio space in downtown Burbank, CA today, coinciding with the reopening of the state. Thousands of podcasts and short-form content including YouTube videos and Facebook Watch series have been produced, filmed, and edited in the studio over the years. Coming in 2022, the studio will also feature multiple specialized sets dedicated to vertical video production to better support Studio71’s creators who are making content for platforms like Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok.
Studio71’s production space has two stages, one is 2,100-square-feet featuring a green screen cyclorama and the other is 900-square-feet with a pre-lit lighting grid. In addition to the stages, there is 2,500-square-feet of common space including production offices, a conference room, green rooms for talent, and editing suites. The Burbank location also offers a podcast studio on-site that caters to Studio71’s growing podcast network which now boasts over 100 shows including WVFRM with MKBHD (Waveform with Marques Brownlee), The Bald and the Beautiful with Trixie Mattel and Katya Zamo, and Wild ‘Til 9 hosted by Lauren Riihimaki (LaurDIY) and Jeremy Lewis.
“With production ramping back up, Studio71 is thrilled to provide our partners with a full-service space to help elevate their content quality and quantity as they transition back to working outside their homes,” said Mike Finnegan, Executive in Charge of Production at Studio71.
“The rise of vertical video platforms over the past year has inspired us to adapt and create a facility in our Burbank studio that provides our partners with the resources to make premium vertical content at scale,” added Kelsey LeMunyon, Senior Manager, Talent Partnerships at Studio71. “We look forward to unveiling our vertical video production facility early next year with several dedicated spaces for filming and collaborating on high-value content.”
The company’s various stages and facilities are open to Studio71 creators, podcasts hosts, and brand partners at no cost. Studio71’s versatile Burbank space has previously been utilized by the company’s distinguished creators including Lilly Singh, Matt Steffanina, Michelle Khare, and RCL Beauty (Rachel Levin) and original productions such as The Real Bros of Simi Valley and Mr. Mom.
