Studio Ochenta Launches Bilingual Podcast Workshops for Kids This Summer
Award-winning podcast company Studio Ochenta has just launched a new program: Bilingual podcasting workshops for kids aged 8 to 15, now available in both English–Spanish and English–French tracks.
The 3-session virtual workshops are designed for families raising bilingual children who want a creative, screen-smart activity this summer.
Participants will write, record, and share their very own podcast episodes—while gaining confidence in their second language.
“We believe storytelling is a superpower, especially for multilingual kids navigating more than one culture.” says founder and educator Lory Martinez.
“These workshops are about giving kids a space to be heard, in every language they speak at home.”
Workshops are held online, with limited spots available in July and August. The program has already been used to help over 100 students in Paris, France practice their communication skills in English and French through podcasting.
It has been modified for digital, learn-from-anywhere use for kids around the world.
