Paris, France—Studio Ochenta, a multilingual podcast studio dedicated to raising voices across cultures has launched a brand new podcast called​ ​Ochenta Stories​,​ a globally crowd-sourced show from artists, writers, creators and podcasters currently in quarantine.

Ochenta Stories​ ​brings together eighty 3-5-minute stories in English, French, Italian, Spanish and Mandarin. Ochenta, which specializes in international productions, has translated the pieces for the world to hear.

The prompt:​ What do you want to hear when this pandemic is over? ​inspired creators to send in stories in a a variety of formats, including audio fiction, documentaries and interviews. Each standalone episode is fully bilingual, the original production and an English version appear in the same episode.

“Our Paris-based studio is currently under a strict lockdown in France, and a lot of the producers we work with around the world are confined to their homes. We want to give them a chance to tell their stories to the world.” - Studio Ochenta Founder and host of Ochenta Stories, Lory Martinez.

Ochenta Stories is the latest in the studio’s multilingual projects, after the success of it’s flagship fiction show, ​Mija Podcast​ in France and Spain this past fall, the studio adapted one of the first multilingual branded podcasts for ​Meetic​, Europe’s leading dating app this past March.
