Studio 808 Launches Podcast Kickstarter Programme: A Unique Opportunity for Aspiring Podcasters
Studio 808, a leading recording and production studio, is excited to announce the launch of its Podcast Kickstarter Programme, offering a golden opportunity for individuals with a passion for podcasting but lacking the resources or guidance to kickstart their journey.
The Podcast Kickstarter Programme is an exclusive 10-week initiative designed to empower budding podcasters to transform their ideas into engaging content and share it with the world. With only five slots available, Studio 808 aims to handpick individuals who are serious about creating impactful podcasts.
“We understand that many people have fantastic ideas for podcasts but may not know where to start,” said Paul Wilkinson, Founder of Studio 808. “Our goal with this programme is to provide comprehensive support and guidance to turn those ideas into reality, all at a fraction of the usual cost.”
Participants in the programme will have the opportunity to develop a 10-episode podcast series, either with a co-host discussing ongoing topics or by interviewing 10 guests in the studio. The programme encompasses everything from planning and research to filming, editing, and distribution, ensuring a seamless journey from concept to publication.
The comprehensive package includes:
- 10 professionally filmed and edited episodes
- Audio mixing and mastering
- Image thumbnail creation
- Content calendar
- 2 social media clips per episode
- Management and distribution on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Music
The total cost of the package is £1,000 + VAT, significantly lower than the standard rate of £2400. Additionally, participants have the option to enhance their package by collaborating with Studio 808's agency partner, Better Agency, for an additional £250. This add-on includes cover art creation, social media scripts, and promotional emails to maximise audience engagement.
“We believe in providing opportunities to our community and supporting talented individuals in realising their dreams,” added Paul. “By offering this programme at such an accessible price point, we hope to empower aspiring podcasters to unleash their creativity and share their voices with the world.”
To apply for the Podcast Kickstarter Programme, interested individuals are encouraged to submit their podcast idea along with confirmation of ten guests for studio interviews. The successful applicants will be announced on June 1st, 2024.
