Palo Alto CA, USA—Storyboard, a specialized platform for hosting private podcasts, announced today that it has launched Storyboard Groups. With this feature, podcasters can now support unlimited channels targeted to different audiences within their organization.

Storyboard Groups expands the opportunity for private podcasts as organizations frequently want to create customized shows for different teams, job functions, and more. Now with Groups, Storyboard podcasters can create an unlimited number of podcast-style “shows” within their organization, each with their own folder and show art to cover these different topics.

“Audio and podcasting are rapidly taking off in the corporate space, and we need to deliver tools on our platform to make it easy to transform outdated communications,” Storyboard founder JP Gooderham said. “With Groups, we’re unlocking our clients’ creativity as now they can turn eLearnings, conference calls, and more into an easy to follow channel that their employees can access on the go.”

During the beta of Groups, Storyboard podcasters successfully launched shows that targeted subgroups within their overall organization and expanded their footprint in podcasting. Examples include targeted trainings (for instance, a Global Sales team at a Fortune 500 company creating a weekly update just for their sellers) as well featuring new voices within an organization (like a working group creating a Leadership Training program to empower employees to improve their careers).

Storyboard Groups is now available to all Pro Tier podcasters. For organizations who would like to begin using Storyboard, they also can sign up for the Hobby Tier which is free for up to 100 users. ABOUT STORYBOARD

Storyboard was founded by podcasters in early 2019 to help organizations replace low engagement content with podcast-style audio shows, which are available through their iPhone, Android, and web apps. Over 700 organizations now rely on Storyboard to replace disruptive conference calls, town halls, and trainings with podcasts that employees can access on-the-go.

Podcasters can launch internal shows on Storyboard’s Free Plan (up to 100 users), Pro Basic plan (with password-protected feeds), or Pro SSO (for Enterprise-size organizations). The company is based in Palo Alto, California.
