Voxnest’s Spreaker Studio adds Siri Shortcuts for Custom Commands Including Hands Free Recording and Live Broadcasting
PRESS RELEASE — November 15, 2018
New York NY, USA—Podcasting solution provider Voxnest today announced the integration of Siri® shortcuts in the company’s Spreaker Studio App, enabling podcasters to create custom voice commands for predefined actions. The app’s new capabilities, available on iPhone® and iPad® running iOS 12, make it even easier to produce audio content and even broadcast live.
The Spreaker Studio app transforms mobile devices into fully-equipped audio studios, offers anyone an easy way to broadcast from live events, share original music, create an audio blog or podcast series and connect with the world over shared passions. In addition to the ability to pre-record podcasts or broadcast live, users can add music and sound effects, interact with audiences via live chatbot and share across Facebook and Twitter.
With the capabilities of iOS 12, Spreaker Studio now supports creation of user-generated commands and includes two ready-to-use shortcuts for hands-free podcast creation: “Record Audio,” which triggers capture, and “Broadcast Live,” which triggers simultaneous capture and publication of content. Users also benefit from the pairing of Siri Suggestions and Shortcuts in iOS 12, which enables Siri to learn users’ frequent in-app actions to predict and proactively prompt them in the future.
“Adding Siri Shortcuts to Spreaker Studio is the first in a series of developments Voxnest is driving to give those using iOS devices a rich feature set that maximizes the ever-growing power of their devices,” said Francesco Baschieri, President of Voxnest. “As Apple® continues to redefine mobile devices, we will leverage their advancements to push the limits of Spreaker Studio.”
Spreaker Studio for iPhone and iPad is available on the App Store® at https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/spreaker-studio/id585625596.
Siri Shortcuts and custom commands for Spreaker Studio can be activated from the Siri & Search menu in the settings app for iPhone or iPad.
