The Spinoff expands multimedia offering with two hires
The Spinoff is proud to announce the expansion of its multimedia offering for commercial partners with the appointment of Jane Yee as Partnerships multimedia lead and Jin Fellet as Senior producer. These strategic hires are set to elevate The Spinoff’s audio, video and social content production – tailored specifically for its commercial partners both on The Spinoff platform and as white label offerings.
As Partnerships multimedia lead, Jane Yee will spearhead the creative direction and business development of The Spinoff’s multimedia projects, including podcasts, vidcasts and social video content. Jane brings with her a wealth of experience, having previously led The Spinoff’s podcast department. With a background in broadcast media and communications, Jane’s extensive knowledge, particularly in the podcast space, makes her a valuable asset in driving innovative and engaging content for The Spinoff’s commercial partners.
Jin Fellet joins The Spinoff as Senior producer, where she will oversee the operational aspects of audio and video production, and distribution. Jin is an accomplished producer, having worked on award-winning series for The Spinoff and Shit You Should Care About. With her agency experience working in account management at Colenso BBDO, Jin is well-positioned to ensure that The Spinoff’s multimedia content is executed flawlessly, from concept to delivery.
Eli Rivera, The Spinoff’s Head of commercial, shared her excitement about the new hires: "Jane and Jin bring a powerful combination of creative vision and operational expertise that will help us build on The Spinoff’s success in the media landscape. With their leadership, we’re poised to raise our offerings and continue delivering compelling content for our partners.
We’ve enjoyed significant successes with sponsored podcasts like Business is Boring (Spark) and When the Facts Change (Kiwibank), as well as partner series such as This is Kiwi (Kiwibank). We’ve also developed and produced white label projects for a range of clients, including Auckland Council, Massey University, and Deloitte. With our extensive experience in the media landscape and the ongoing growth of podcasts and streaming video, we’re excited to see where this new chapter will take us."
