Press Release · via Audacy ·

Audacy today announced the launch of Simpsons Declassified with Nancy Cartwright, a weekly audio and video podcast produced by Monica Gil-Rodriguez that pulls back the curtain on “The Simpsons,” the longest-running scripted series in American primetime television and a pop culture phenomenon for five decades and 36 seasons.

“Simpsons Declassified with Nancy Cartwright” will launch on September 18, 2025, on YouTube and everywhere podcasts are available. New episodes will be released weekly on Thursdays. Listen and follow the show here.

On “Simpsons Declassified,” Cartwright – the iconic voice of Bart Simpson, Ralph Wiggum, Nelson Muntz, Todd Flanders, Kearney Zzyzwicz, Database, and Maggie Simpson – and co-host Sofy Kurtz invite listeners behind-the-scenes of the world’s most iconic animated series, sharing untold stories, behind-the-scenes moments, and personal anecdotes, including the scenes that almost never aired, how Bart started mirroring Cartwright’s life, and the surprises that still get her.

Each episode will explore the show’s most jaw-dropping predictions and long-running conspiracies. It will feature “The Simpsons” guest stars, writers, directors, and famous fans who will reveal their favorite fan theories, hot takes, and secrets from inside Springfield and play “The Simpsons”-themed games. The guest lineup includes Allison Janney, “Weird Al" Yankovic, and “The Simpsons” showrunner, writer, and producer Mike Reiss, with more to come.

“We’re thrilled to finally launch ‘Simpsons Declassified’—a four-year labor of love for the fans,” said Cartwright and Gil-Rodriguez. “We couldn’t be more excited to partner with Leah Reis-Dennis and her incredible team at Audacy to bring this dream project to life.”

"Nancy Cartwright is the voice of a generation—her fearless, hilarious, and larger-than-life performance as Bart Simpson has made her a cultural icon, and we couldn’t be more delighted to partner with her and Monica Gil-Rodriguez,” said Leah Reis-Dennis, Head of Podcasts, Audacy. “With Nancy’s singular insight and reflections, ‘Simpsons Declassified’ will thrill and entertain millions of Simpsons fans and offer an inside perspective as never heard before.”

“Simpsons Declassified” is Executive Produced by Audacy’s Leah Reis-Dennis, alongside CRE84U Entertainment’s Monica Gil-Rodriguez, who also serves as showrunner. CRE84U Entertainment is repped by Grayson Jernigan at WME.
