Caloroga Shark Media announces new espionage thriller series "Signal Lost" examining modern cybersecurity vulnerabilities

Press Release ·

Caloroga Shark Media announces SIGNAL LOST, a gripping six-part narrative podcast thriller exploring how digital convenience can become the greatest national security threat of our time.

The fictional series based on real-world events follows the catastrophic consequences when highly classified military operations are compromised through a commercial messaging app, leading to American casualties and a far-reaching conspiracy that extends to the highest levels of government and private industry. From Washington situation rooms to the battlefields of Yemen, “SIGNAL LOST” examines the deadly intersection of technology, national security, and human error.

The series will feature immersive storytelling from fictional veteran national security journalist Daniel Marsh, who guides listeners through this complex, ripped-from-the-headlines narrative with insider expertise.

“This is a story about what happens when our addiction to digital convenience collides with matters of life and death,” says Caloroga Shark Media Co-founder John McDermott. “In an era where classified information can be compromised by a single misplaced digit in a phone number, 'SIGNAL LOST’ asks vital questions about accountability, security protocols, and the human cost of technological carelessness.”

“The series couldn’t be more timely,” adds Co-founder Mark Francis. “As recent events have shown, even the most sensitive government operations aren’t immune to basic cybersecurity failures. 'SIGNAL LOST’ transforms these headlines into a suspenseful narrative that educates as it entertains.”

“SIGNAL LOST” Episode 1 is available now on all major podcast platforms, with new episodes releasing weekly.
