Mamamia launches new sex podcast with Chantelle Otten
This article is at least a year old
Ever since Dolly Doctor, Australian women of all ages have sought out trusted information about their most intimate, private issues. Because there are some things just too personal for many women to talk about even with your closest friends.
With magazines falling by the wayside and Google delivering an overwhelming, confusing (and sometimes disturbing) amount of content about sex and relationships, Mamamia has stepped in to fill the breach with new podcast Sealed Section.
Hosted by Australia’s leading sexologist and Mamamia contributor, Chantelle Otten, Sealed Section answers the sex questions women are too afraid to ask their girlfriends, covering topics like infidelity, kinks, and postpartum sex.
Drawing on Chantelle’s clinical experience, the show also dives deeper into the emotional side of sex, sexuality and relationships and is peppered with the voices of real women describing their experiences and problems.
Chantelle Otten, host and long-time Mamamia collaborator, said: “I’m so excited to have a chance to connect with listeners, and to provide support and answers that they may not have found before. Their questions have reaffirmed how complex sexuality is, it’s normal to have sexual concerns, and it’s normal to want to talk about them in a non-judgemental way.”
Lize Ratliff, Mamamia’s Head of Podcasts, said: “Chantelle brings her smarts, experience and candid answers to questions you don’t tend to hear being asked. It makes for compelling listening.”
Episode one has dropped and it explores why people cheat, and answers audience questions about infidelity.
Mamamia is Australia’s #1 women’s media brand across articles, podcasts, social media, influencers, eDMs, member panels, LIVE events and online courses. Its stable of over 40 shows makes it the world’s largest women’s podcast network. Mamamia’s founding purpose is to make the world a better place for women and girls.
