Comedian Aaron Berg Officially Named the New Co-Host Of Top Comedy And Music Podcast The SDR Show with Ralph Sutton
It was announced today that comedian and actor Aaron Berg would be the new co-host of The SDR Show (Sex, Drugs and Rock and Roll). The SDR Show host and GaS Digital Network co-owner Ralph Sutton made the announcement.
Aaron is a permanent fixture in the NYC comedy scene, performing nightly and continuing to set the bar for comedy greatness. His humor transcends the stage and into his personal life, where he thrives as a dedicated father and husband.
“I am beyond excited to take the co-host chair on the SDR show. My favorite things in life are sex… and to a much lesser extent, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll,” said Berg. “Although I am sober, I really respect people who can handle sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll in perfect harmony. This podcast is now a perfect storm.
Among Aaron’s acting credits include being recently cast in Uwe Boll’s feature film The First Shift, adding to a resume of over 50 projects, including cult classics like The Boondock Saints 2, Detroit Rock City, and the Independent Spirit Award-winning The Lookout, where he played “Cork” opposite Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Jeff Daniels, and Isla Fisher. He also starred in the dark comedy series 24 Hour Rental, now streaming on Amazon.
Aaron’s documentary 25 Sets, which chronicles his record-breaking night performing 25 stand-up sets in NYC, is available on Amazon. His Comedy Central debut on This Is Not Happening has over 2 million views, and he’s been featured on AXS TV’s Live at Gotham, Comedy Central’s Roast Battle, and Big Jay Oakerson’s WYFD?!?.
In addition to performing, Aaron is the author of two books—Mr. Manners and American Etiquette—and has released six stand-up albums, including Comedy Coltrane, Unscripted, and his latest, 180, all available on iTunes and Amazon.
“When I initially went to replace my long-time co-host Big Jay Oakerson, Aaron was my first call—but he pussed out,” said Sutton. “I’m glad that he’s finally come to his senses and joined me for the in-depth interviews, dick jokes and ridiculous games that we’re known for.”
