Gordon’s Gin and Mamamia launch trivia podcast you can play
This article is at least a year old
Sydney NSW, Australia—Gordon’s Gin and Mamamia have partnered to bring something new to home entertainment: a trivia podcast to play along with friends or on your own - Quizzish.
Just the tonic if the pub in pub quiz was never really your thing, (why so many questions about sport?!) or if it was but the pub’s not currently open.
Hosted by Kelly McCarren, Quizzish is Mamamia’s new weekly trivia podcast where two rivals go head-to-head to determine who can become the Quizzish champion - and listeners can play along at home too. In the first episode, Kelly is joined by Home And Away’s Ada Nicodemou and Lynne McGranger.
As the global gin trend continues, Gordon’s Premium Gin is the perfect accompaniment to those light-hearted moments where you stop, relax and just enjoy a great G&T with good friends. Throughout the Quizzish series, listeners will learn more about gin with key trivia questions, in addition to new serving and recipe suggestions.
Linda Wellington, Head of Gin and Light Spirits, at Diageo Australia, said: “As consumers’ behaviour and choices continue to evolve, we wanted to ensure Gordon’s Premium Gin is still enjoyed, whatever the occasion. This partnership with Mamamia and Quizzish brings entertaining and interactive content to the safety of consumers’ homes and is the perfect moment to come together over a G&T, in a relaxed and light-hearted way.”
Holly Wainwright, Mamamia’s Head of Content, said: ”There are way too many questions about highways and AFL in most pub trivia contests. We’ve designed Quizzish with Gordon’s to be a non-boring night in with mates, or the perfect show to listen to alone, shouting the answers at your phone! It’s full of energy and humour, as any great gameshow should be.”
