PRX Welcomes Donna Hardwick as New Chief Marketing Officer

Cambridge MA, USA—PRX is pleased to announce Donna Hardwick as its Chief Marketing Officer. In this newly created role, Hardwick will lead PRX’s marketing, branding and communications strategies and initiatives.

“Donna brings a wealth of experience in content and marketing through her work at ITVS and shares a strong commitment to great storytelling ,” says Hoffman. “I look forward to her joining us at this exciting time in media and journalism. Her leadership will strengthen PRX as we continue to work with our partners in nurturing new talent and growing audiences.”

Hardwick recently served as the senior director of communications and distribution at ITVS in San Francisco, where she led marketing, digital strategy, engagement & impact, distribution, communications and public relations. She worked with brands such as Independent Lens, Indie Lens Storycast and OVEE. In 2017, ITVS received the Peabody Institutional Award and the Television Academy Governors Award.

Prior to ITVS, Hardwick was founder and president of On and On Marketing & Communications where she created strategic campaigns to support documentaries, series and specials premiering on public television. Her public media career began at WGBH, where she led station relations marketing for award-winning national series, including This Old House, Masterpiece Theatre, Antiques Roadshow, FRONTLINE, NOVA and Africans in America. She once served as director of communications for American Public Television. Hardwick is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire.
