PodUK announces new guests, schedule

PRESS RELEASE — January 3, 2019

The team behind PODUK, the UK’s first podcasting fan convention, have been working hard behind the scenes, and now have some fantastic new announcements to make!

For those who don’t know, PodUK is taking place on February 2nd 2019 in Birmingham at the unique Millennium Point venue, and will feature live shows, meet n’ greets, workshops and more. Tickets are just £20 for the entire event – you can purchase yours at

“PodUK was born from a love of podcasting, and a love of passionate fan communities,” says event manager Jess Anson. “We have been humbled by the response to our event from the various podcasting communities, and in return hope to put on a fantastic event for podcasters and podcast fans alike. We have some incredible live shows and activities lined up for our attendees that we think they’re really going to like, and in fact many of our live shows are going to be exclusive to PodUK. We Fix Space Junk has written an episode especially for the event, The Orphans have written some character biopics for the event, Wooden Overcoats are going to be performing a special, ‘acoustic’ (so to speak) version of their podcast.. just for starters. The enthusiasm is overwhelming, and we couldn’t be happier.”

The live shows announced are:

These amazing podcasters will be providing PodUK attendees with exclusive live versions of their podcasts – certain to be a treat for fans! You can also sit down for a chat with them by booking in to a meet n’ greet.

There will also be talking panels with appearances from:
