Podspike partnership with PodLP offers new promotional service
This article is at least a year old
The pioneering podcast marketing company has introduced a new addition to its range of promotional services. The Extended Play Powerup offers customers the opportunity to reach audiences overlooked by the traditional Apple and Spotify-dominated ecosystem by featuring their show on half a million smart feature phones that use the PodLP app across more than 170 countries.
PodLP is on a mission to bring podcasts to the next billion people. Its podcast app runs on KaiOS – a web-based mobile operating system developed exclusively for smart feature phones.
Smart feature phones are a hybrid of feature phones (such as classic Nokia handsets) and internet-enabled smartphones, but without the limitations of the former and cost of the latter.
Smart feature phones are used by:
- audiences in the developing world who need a highly affordable device;
- those who want a ruggedised phone for use ‘in the field’;
- those who prefer a different mobile phone experience.
Podspike’s new Extended Play Powerup gives the purchaser a place in the ‘Featured’ section of the PodLP app for 7 days. Podcasters can purchase the Extended Play Powerup at a one-off cost of $109 or become a Pro Member to get all Powerups at a discounted rate of $99. Go to podspike.com to find out more.
PodLP is run by Last Byte LLC, a member of 1% for the Planet, a global movement inspiring businesses and individuals to support environmental solutions. PodLP continues to support the open podcasting ecosystem through Podcasting 2.0 tags and features.
