Podcaster’s Legal & Business Bootcamp to be presented live and in-person in conjunction with Podfest Expo
PRESS RELEASE — January 31, 2020
Los Angeles CA, USA—This March, The Podcast Lawyer™ Gordon Firemark is holding his Podcaster’s Legal & Business Bootcamp live, and in person. The event, coincides with the Podfest Multimedia Expo.
This half-day, intensive hands-on workshop is for podcasters who are serious about podcasting as a business (or as part of another business).
“If you plan to monetize your podcast, whether through advertising, affiliate sales, or by promoting your own products and services, you absolutely must stop treating your podcast like a hobby, and get your legal and business affairs in order”, said Firemark. “I want to help make that happen quickly and cost-effectively, so you can be ready to strike when important opportunities come along.”
The workshop will lead you step-by-step through everything you must do to get your podcast business set for success, covering everything from forming your business entity, registering brand name trademarks, protecting your intellectual property and using the right contracts for your team, vendors, and sponsors. But this workshop is different, because you’ll actually DO the steps in real-time (if you choose).
The Podcaster’s Legal & Business Bootcamp is March 6, 2020 from 1pm to 4pm at the Orlando World Center Marriott.
