Podcast.co Launches New Platform
PRESS RELEASE — February 14, 2019
Podcast.co has launched a new platform to make podcasting a breeze. Aimed at podcasters, brands and agencies looking to engage with the audio revolution. The platform has been engineered from the ground up to be simple to use yet powerful, with built in networking functionality. Podcast.co already have a partnership with Spotify and are working on a wealth of new features and other partnerships.
Created by the same team as broadcasting platform Radio.co, who work with clients including MC Saatchi, Unicef, the United Nations, Whiskas, Soho Radio, Primavera Sound and Cafe Mambo. The platform has grown to power over 4500 radio channels in less than 3 years and distributes audio to more than 15 million people per day.
Mike Cunsolo, Marketing Director said “Podcast.co platform aims to deliver a slick user experience which removes all of the hassle out of rolling out a podcast. Our distribution partnerships allow us to push podcasts to all the major platforms.”
Frustrated with the legacy podcasting industry, Podcast.co are laying down the gauntlet and challenging the typical big players to beat them in terms of usability, functionality and the time it takes to set up a Podcast.co. Traditionally it’s also very hard to manage multiple podcasts and users within a network, the industry hasn’t grown up alongside the demand. Our network accounts simplify this process for enterprise and power users.
“We’re easily the fastest and simplest way to set up a podcast. It’s actually a very simple process but a lot of the podcast platforms out there over-complicate things. With Podcast.co you can have a podcast up and running in minutes and in turn pushed out to all of the major platforms” says James Mulvany, Podcast.co Founder and CEO.
So what’s next for Podcast.co? Innovation according to Mr Mulvany, “We don’t want to just go after the same market as everyone else. Key areas of growth for us will be brands, agencies and influencers and helping to power campaigns so that’s definitely something we’ll be concentrating on in terms of tools and feature updates.”
Clients already using the platform include The People’s History Museum and Intern Magazine.
