Press Release ·

This article is at least a year old

Following a successful launch in 2019 with Politics and Rugby, Podcast Live is pleased to announce a new event for 2020.

Podcast Live: Crime will run over two evenings (7th and 8th April), at the famous Victorian theatre Wilton’s Music Hall, recently refurbished but retaining all its 19th century splendour, which is based in London’s Whitechapel district – probably the most famous crime scene in history.

Tuesday 7th April features

“Unheard: The Fred and Rose West Tapes” – a recent chart topping podcast, from Howard Sounes. In 1994, Howard began investigating a case of serial murder in an English cathedral city. A married couple, Fred and Rose West, had killed at least twelve women and girls, including their own daughter. Uncovering their secrets as a journalist and author of the book, “Fred & Rose”, Howard recorded his enquiries and interviews on cassette tape. Twenty-five years on, Howard has revisited these previously unheard tapes.
