Industry Survey will reveal how much Podcast Editors make

Press Release · St Peters, MO, USA ·

This article is at least a year old

Results of the 4th Annual Podcast Editors Industry Survey will be revealed Wednesday November 16th at 6pm EST.

The survey studies different aspects of what impacts how much an editor charges, such as:

  • Level of formal education
  • What editing software they use
  • How many conferences they attend each year

“We survey members of the podcast editing community to learn how much editors charge podcasters and what impacts their hourly rate. Some of the findings surprise us every year.” - Steve Stewart

In previous years, regression testing of the data made it possible to expose a pay gap, with women making almost 9% more than men, and those who frequented TikTok earned less.

The results will be revealed in a video broadcast at 6pm EST on Wednesday November 16th on the Podcast Editor Academy’s blog and on YouTube

A replay will be available.
