The Payments Shed podcast expands internationally after rapid first-year growth
The Payments Shed has appointed six new hosts across the UK, US and mainland Europe as the payments and fintech podcast expands its international coverage.
Joining founders Grant Evans and Justin Hanna are Sarah Stapp in Chicago, Kara Parkey in New York, Jason Heister in Utah, Rogier Rouppe van der Voort in Amsterdam, and Jasmine Chana and Liam Gray in London.
Founded in October 2025, The Payments Shed has attracted more than 400,000 YouTube subscribers in its first year. Its expansion will enable more recordings in local markets, introduce new guests and bring regional perspectives to discussions on payments, fintech and business growth.
The new hosts bring experience spanning global payments, fintech recruitment, enterprise partnerships, digital assets and commercial leadership.
Their appointments follow a series of US recordings, including at the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square, as The Payments Shed builds its presence beyond the UK.
Grant Evans, Co-Founder and Co-Host of The Payments Shed, said:
“When Justin and I started The Payments Shed, we wanted to have honest conversations with people working in payments and fintech. Reaching more than 400,000 YouTube subscribers in our first year has shown us the appetite for those discussions.
Bringing six new hosts into the team means we can hear from more people in more markets. Each brings their own experience, contacts and perspective, giving us more scope to explore the issues that matter to our audience.”
The Payments Shed has also expanded its production and support team, with people working across videography, content production, marketing, design and web development.
Justin Hanna, Co-Founder and Co-Host of The Payments Shed, added:
“What started as two of us recording conversations alongside our day jobs has grown into an international team. Having hosts based in the UK, US and mainland Europe will help us explore how the opportunities and challenges in payments differ from market to market.
The team behind the scenes gives us the capacity to produce more, while keeping the focus on useful conversations with people who know the industry.”
Alongside its podcast, The Payments Shed now produces video content, social content, a website, and a newsletter, with events and industry partnerships forming part of its wider media platform.
