Paul Burrell launches debut podcast: Paul Burrell’s Royal Tea
Paul Burrell, the former butler to Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Diana, is set to launch his first ever podcast, Paul Burrell’s Royal Tea, on 8th September.
The weekly show, produced jointly by UK production companies Listening Dog Media and Golden Cat Studios, will be available on all major podcast platforms.
In the series, Burrell will share his unique insider perspective on royal life, blending commentary on the latest royal news with first-hand stories from his time in the royal household. From Queen Elizabeth’s daily breakfast routine to Princess Diana’s private moments, listeners will gain a rare, behind-the-scenes view of how the monarchy really works.
Speaking about the launch, Paul Burrell said:
“What a perfect way to reach all corners of the world and all my followers. Every single one of them can actually log in to listen to my podcast. It’s not something TV or radio can do, but a podcast can. And I’m so excited to be reaching so many people.”
Alongside current royal commentary, each episode will feature personal reflections from Burrell’s years working with Queen Elizabeth, King Charles, Princess Diana, and Princes William and Harry, as well as explorations of Britain’s royal history through a segment called Burrell’s Britain.
Callum Marks, Co-Founder of Listening Dog Media, said:
“This is the first time Paul has taken his stories into the podcast space. The mix of personal insight, royal commentary, and history makes this a unique proposition for UK and international audiences.”
Kyle Evans, Co-Founder of Golden Cat Studios, said:
“Paul’s unique perspective, shaped by years of service within the Royal Household directly for Queen Elizabeth II and close relationship with Princess Diana, brings an authenticity and depth to royal storytelling that’s truly unmatched. We’re excited to help bring these untold stories to listeners around the world”
