Podcast Nation Expands Its Slate With Philosophy Podcast Overthink
Podcast Nation, known for its lineup of chart-topping entertainment, lifestyle, and pop culture shows, is expanding its boundaries with the addition of Overthink, a weekly philosophy podcast hosted by professors Ellie Anderson and David M. Peña-Guzmán.
The show joins the network through a partnership with Creative Artists Agency (CAA), a product of Podcast Nation’s ongoing collaboration with industry leaders to bring unique and compelling voices to audiences.
Where most philosophy podcasts skew academic, Overthink is fresh, witty, and accessible, exploring life’s big questions through centuries-old ideas in a way that’s relevant, relatable, and entertaining.
Overthink joins the ranks of Podcast Nation hits like The Telepathy Tapes, hosted by award-winning director Ky Dickens, and Before We Go, hosted by TED Health podcast host and Oscar-nominated documentary producer Dr. Shoshana Unglier. Together with Overthink, these shows exemplify Podcast Nation’s desire to push the boundaries of its typical content focus, exploring new categories, perspectives, and audience experiences.
Beyond the content expansion, all three of the network’s monetization partnerships demonstrate Podcast Nation’s quiet development and strengthening ability to generate swift and meaningful revenue for creators–even beyond their typical audiences and demographics.
“While Overthink may be a departure from our typical content, our track record with previous creator partnerships and the strong rapport our team has built with our sales partners gave us full confidence in our ability to successfully monetize the show,” said Nadine Robinson, co-founder and COO of Podcast Nation. “We’re excited to continue growing with our partners and to expand into new categories, creating space for diverse perspectives.”
New episodes of Overthink drop every Tuesday and are available wherever you get your podcasts.
