Comedy-Drama 'On the Tinsel Front' back with wartime Hollywood stories
Season 2 of the full-cast audio comedy-drama podcast On The Tinsel Front debuts on September 5, 2026, the Saturday of Labor Day weekend. The new season consists of seven episodes. The first two will be available that Saturday. The five ensuing episodes will be released one at a time every three days thereafter.
It is 1942. Washed out of flight school and inexplicably assigned to the U.S. Army Air Forces ‘First Motion Picture Unit,’ Private Oliver Whelan tumbles down the rabbit hole of wartime Hollywood! ON THE TINSEL FRONT is a hilarious, fascinating and touching full cast audio comedy/drama inspired by the real-life people and places of the U.S. Army’s film production effort in Tinseltown during World War II.

ON THE TINSEL FRONT is written, produced and directed by Christopher Bomba, who worked for 47 years in the movie business, primarily in feature film story development. It stars Brian Stanton as Pvt. Oliver Whelan. He is supported by a cast of over twenty accomplished actors from Los Angeles and other parts of the USA.
