Omny Studio collaborates with Rubicon Project to harness the power of programmatic video ads in podcasting

Melbourne VIC, Australia—Omny Studio, creators of the leading on-demand audio publishing platform for broadcasters and enterprise podcasters, has entered into an agreement with Rubicon Project, the global exchange for advertising, to expand its video monetisation options in order to deliver industry-standard video pre-roll ads across podcast listens on the web.

Omny Studio customers can connect their podcast with Rubicon Project’s premium video advertising marketplace to open up an additional revenue stream from their on-demand audio content. Video advertising can be enabled as a skippable or non-skippable pre-roll for Omny Studio’s embedded podcast players on both desktop and mobile. Targeting is available by user’s location, network, show and associated episode and show metadata. Every publisher that opts into the service will also be able to customise the types of advertisers they wish to include, specify a floor-price and set their ideal ad length.
