Nomono Appoints Owen Grover as General Manager, US
Nomono, a leader in audio capture and processing technology, announced the appointment of Owen Grover to the newly created role of General Manager, U.S. With more than 25 years of experience leading digital, audio, and mobile platforms, Grover brings expertise, deep industry relationships, and a passion for storytelling to the position.
“We’re truly excited to welcome Owen Grover as General Manager, U.S. at Nomono,” said Kristine Snyder, CEO of Nomono. “Owen brings a unique and powerful combination of skillsets: strong commercial instinct, a deep understanding of technology, and a clear grasp of the spoken audio space. He knows how to navigate both large, complex organizations and early-stage environments, and importantly, what it actually takes to turn ideas into something that works and scales. He is also a natural relationship builder, with a clear ability to create trust, open doors, and move conversations forward in a meaningful way.”
Grover most recently served as CEO of TrueFire Studios, a leading alliance of online music education companies. Prior to that, he served as CEO of Pocket Casts, an acclaimed global podcasting platform. Grover spent over a decade at iHeartMedia, where he was a founding member of iHeartRadio, the company’s online radio, podcasting, and music streaming service. He also helped to establish iHeartMedia’s Entertainment Enterprises division, where he developed events and programs including the iHeartRadio Music Festival and the iHeartRadio Music Awards.
“I’ve spent my career working at the intersection of audio and technology, always drawn to the question of how we deliver for creators at every stage and size, while keeping storytelling at the center,” said Grover. “Nomono is built around the human voice and is designed to amplify authenticity. I’m excited to help Nomono grow in the U.S. by building partnerships, expanding awareness, and getting these extraordinary products into the hands of creators and producers who will feel the difference immediately.”
Continued Snyder, “As we continue to scale Nomono into a broader platform for capturing and producing spoken audio, strengthening our presence in the U.S. is a key priority. Owen is exactly the right person to lead this work in the U.S., and I’m confident he will play a key role in building both our presence and momentum going forward.”
Grover will report to Snyder and will be based out of New York.
