Kaleidoscope adds No Such Thing to growing slate
Kaleidoscope, the New York-based podcasting company redefining science and technology storytelling, and iHeartPodcasts, the No. 1 podcast publisher according to Podtrac, today announced that No Such Thing will join Kaleidoscope’s slate of research-driven audio at the intersection of technology, science, and culture. No Such Thing is hosted by journalists Manny Fidel, Noah Friedman, and Devan Joseph, as the trio brings thoughtful research and genuine friendship to the exploration of ridiculous questions. The podcast, first launched in November 2024, will now begin its second chapter under Kaleidoscope and iHeartPodcasts’ esteemed content network umbrella. New episodes are released every Wednesday.
No Such Thing begins each episode with a simple, but often heated debate. Do siblings influence us more than our parents? Are suburban dogs really happier than city dogs? Should schools ban phones? What starts with gut instinct quickly becomes a deeply researched journey as the trio speaks to experts, runs experiments, and gathers facts to challenge each other’s assumptions and, occasionally, change their minds. “We’re very excited about our show and these early signs of success,” said Manny Fidel, Host of No Such Thing. “Now, thanks to Kaleidoscope and iHeartPodcasts, we get to take some bigger swings that I know our growing audience will appreciate.””
“It’s been a joy digging into our long-running debates on this show, and hopefully providing some real answers to everyday questions in the process,” said Noah Friedman, Host of No Such Thing.
“Our show is still just three friends trying to figure stuff out, but now we have the backing of Kaleidoscope and iHeart helping us do it better, bigger, and weirder,” said Devan Joseph, Host of No Such Thing.
The addition of No Such Thing to Kaleidoscope’s expanding slate of shows follows the company’s recent Series A raise, co-led by Burda Principal Investments and North Base Media, which is fueling the growth of its genre-defining podcast platform. No Such Thing is the latest addition to Kaleidoscope and iHeartPodcasts’ growing slate of acclaimed shows, joining their flagship show TechStuff with hosts Oz Woloshyn and Karah Preiss; America’s Crime Lab, a gripping new podcast with Othram uncovering the truth behind unsolved crimes across America; Levittown, a deepfake AI true crime series in collaboration with Bloomberg; Part-Time Genius hosted by Mangesh Hattikudur and Will Pearson; Kill Switch hosted by Emmy-winning journalist Dexter Thomas; and On Musk With Walter Isaacson among others. With No Such Thing, Kaleidoscope continues expanding its mission to spotlight today’s most curious and conversation-starting topics in culture, science, and technology.
“There’s such a joy in hanging out with Manny, Noah and Devan, and a real magic in the way they investigate everyday questions,” said Mangesh Hattikudur, Co-founder of Kaleidoscope. “Their chemistry is undeniable, and they are savvy journalists. We’re just excited to fuel their ambitions and bring this to a wider audience.”
“People don’t just listen to No Such Thing; they feel like they’re part of it,” said Oz Woloshyn, Co-founder of Kaleidoscope. “That kind of connection is rare, and we’re excited to bring that energy to our listeners alongside our partners at iHeartPodcasts.”
No Such Thing is distributed by iHeartPodcasts and is available now on the iHeartRadio app and all major podcast platforms. New episodes drop every Wednesday.
