Companion names industry veteran Nathan Jordan as Sales Director
Companion today announced the appointment of industry veteran Nathan Jordan as its Sales Director. In his role, Jordan will lead performance marketing sales and brand partnerships across Companion’s growing slate of podcasts, including Soul Boom with Rainn Wilson, Pop Syllabus (with Christiana Mbakwe-Medina), This Might Get Weird (with Grace Helbig and Mamrie Hart), and Showing Up with Andy Grammer. Spanning entertainment icons, therapy experts, and STEM leaders, Companion’s creators are united by one guiding principle: “Be good. See good. Do good.”
Jordan reunites with Companion General Manager A.J. Feliciano, with whom he worked from 2017 to 2019 as they helped pioneer monetization and distribution strategies for simulcast video podcasts. “We’re thrilled to welcome Nathan to Companion,” said Feliciano. “His experience, creativity, and instinct for innovation make him uniquely suited to connect brands and creators around work that drives meaningful social impact—at a time when we need it most.”
Jordan brings more than 15 years of sales and business development experience across podcasting, social media, and influencer marketing. Most recently, he served for more than two years as Director of Podcast Sales and Business Development at ZATV, where he built the network’s sales, talent, and operations functions from the ground up. Before ZATV, he spent nearly three years as SVP of Brands at Semaphore Brand Solutions, leading an eight-person team and managing partnerships with major clients including ZURU and Mattel. Earlier in his career, Jordan held senior sales and leadership roles at BEN, HiStudios, The Roost Podcast Network at Rooster Teeth/Warner Bros. Discovery, and New Rockstars. He began his career in affiliate management at Machinima during digital video’s formative years.
Jordan holds a Master of Fine Arts in creative nonfiction from the University of Pittsburgh and a Bachelor of Arts in film from Columbia College Chicago. He is based in Austin, Texas.
