Two Manchester companies have joined forces as part of the launch of a new children’s project for bed retailer Dreams.

Audio Always and Flow Creative have collaborated on a new children’s bedtime story for Dreams, to support the launch of the brand’s new character ambassador, Log.

The story, which was written and produced by Audio Always, introduces Log as he heads on an adventure to help a tired Unicorn find his dreams. Illustrated and animated by the team at Flow Creative, the book is available in all Dreams UK stores whilst the audio and animated story, voiced by Gavin and Stacey’s Joanna Page, can be found on Spotify and YouTube.

The project is the latest in the ongoing partnership between Dreams and Audio Always which has seen a number of children’s audio bedtime stories written and produced for the brand, including a series of stories launched in summer to celebrate a number of the Team GB Olympic and Paralympic team members.

Head of Partnerships for Audio Always, Paul Fernley, said, “This has been a really fun project to work on and it’s been an absolute pleasure to be able to invite a fellow Manchester company like Flow Creative to work alongside us to really bring the magic of our children’s bedtime story to life. Thank you to the team at Dreams for trusting us to help introduce Log to the world.”

Karl Doran, Creative Director of Flow said: “It was a pleasure working with Audio Always and Dreams, they really were ‘dream’ collaborators! Our illustration and animation team had a lot of fun with this project too, creating something really magical and truly feel-good. It was an international project for us as well, from the storyboarding, to the final artwork and animation our team in the UK, Spain and Portugal pulled out all the steps to create a beautiful film”.

Log and the Unicorn will be joined by more Bedtime stories from Dreams between now and the end of the year.
