Audible promotes Lee Jarit to Global Relations role

Audible, the leading creator and provider of premium audio storytelling, today announced Lee Jarit as Global Head of Publisher and Partner Relations. In this role, Jarit will oversee Audible’s global content acquisition strategy with respect to publisher partnerships and independent creator relationships through Audible’s Audiobook Creation Exchange (ACX).

Jarit joins Audible’s executive leadership team after more than a decade at the company in various roles, most recently as Head of ACX and North America Publisher Partnerships. He will now spearhead Audible’s content sourcing efforts across audiobooks from major publishers and independent creators around the world.

During his tenure at Audible, Jarit has held a variety of roles leading teams and managing key relationships with major North American publishers, as well as with the independent creator community through ACX. He has spearheaded critical initiatives such as Audible’s latest royalty model and reimagining how the company supports creative partners. He began his Audible career via content acquisitions for Audible Studios.

Prior to joining Audible in 2012, Jarit served as an associate at the law firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP, where he worked on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and general corporate matters for public and private companies and investment firms.

Jarit holds a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a B.S. from Cornell University.
