Lantigua Williams & Co. today announced that Latina to Latina, a podcast that features interviews with today’s trailblazing Latinas, hit one million lifetime downloads. The show is co-owned by MSNBC anchor Alicia Menendez and Peabody-nominated executive producer Juleyka Lantigua-Williams (pictured above)
The show, now in its third year, features Menendez in intimate and revealing conversations with Latinas who inspire so many women in their fields and beyond.
“We couldn’t have reached this milestone without our listeners,” Menendez said. “They have been our compass on this journey. They let us know what they love and how we can better serve them where they are in their lives. They may listen to our podcast, but we listen to them,” Menendez said.
To celebrate those listeners, Latina to Latina will host 12 days of giveaways on their Instagram page, featuring Latina authors and Latina-owned brands including Rizos Curls, Reina Rebelde, Joanna Vargas Skin Care, Chillhouse, Jen Zeano Designs, Canticos, Bomba Curls, SalviSoul, and LOLI Beauty.
“We believed in our listeners before we even launched the show,” Lantigua-Williams said. “We had over three decades of work in the service of this rising audience and we knew that if we offered them quality programming, they would respond in kind.”
Latina to Latina has also unveiled a new look for the show: a stylized type-driven new design by graphic designer Livia Soong.
Visit the Latina to Latina website and follow the show on all major platforms. The podcast is produced by Lantigua Williams & Co.
