Jodie Sweetin announces new parenting podcast Never Thought I'd Say This premiering July 10

Los Angeles CA, USA—The premiere date has been set for Never Thought I’d Say This, the new parenting podcast from Fuller House star and mother of two Jodie Sweetin and her best friend, therapist and life coach Celia Behar (also a mother of two). In each episode, the hosts hilariously tackle parenting taboos by swapping stories from the frontlines of motherhood and talking to special guests about issues all parents face in 2019. Never Thought I’d Say This premieres on Wednesday, July 10, 2019 with new episodes every week.

“Our podcast aims to normalize the real mom/parenting experience with listeners who might feel isolated, compartmentalized, and like perhaps they are doing this whole parenting thing wrong,” explain Sweetin and Behar. “In this digital age, where looking ‘perfect’ now seems to be an art form, we hope that by using our own personal experiences, embarrassing parent fails, and close friendship, we can take the perfect out of parenting!”

Each episode of Never Thought I’d Say This revolves around a phrase either Jodie or Celia never thought they would speak out loud – before having children. From the amusing (“Get your mouth off the toilet!”) to the more serious (“I never thought I’d ever have to tell my kids what to do in a school shooting”), no topic is off limits. The show will feature recurring segments such as “craptastic parenting moments of the week” and “fail mail” where listeners share their own comedic stories of parental struggle. Special guests include Christine Lakin (Step by Step, co-host of the popular “Worst Ever Podcast”), Melissa Gisoni (Dance Moms) , Andrea Barber (Fuller House), and Lynsey Addario (Pulitzer Prize winning photo journalist).
