JAR AUDIO, an audio agency producing branded podcasts that you can’t turn off, continues to expand

Press Release ·

This article is at least a year old

Vancouver BC, Canada—Vancouver-based JAR AUDIO provides podcast solutions for brands across Canada and the United States, and continues to produce podcasts that make meaningful connections between people and brands.

“There’s still a lot of white space for brands to stake their claim in the audio-sphere,” says JAR AUDIO’s CEO Roger Nairn. “As the podcast space continues to grow in popularity and as a source of information or entertainment, we see a tremendous opportunity for brands to tell audience-first shows that aren’t heavy handed with the marketing.”

Nairn adds: “If we can get a listener to engage with a 20 to a 30-minute episode that provides them with loads of authentic value and just happens to be brought to you by the brand, then that’s a huge win for our clients.” And JAR AUDIO is delivering, seeing as high as 98% listen-through rates for their episodes.

JAR AUDIO’s growing team of audio experts helps develop a brand’s show from top to bottom. They concept the shows, source, hire and train the host, write episode copy, find and interview guests, record the episodes, produce original music, edit, host and develop go-to-market strategy. “We do all the leg-work to produce the best show for the listeners,” says Nairn.

One of the newest projects for JAR AUDIO is Out Travel the System, a podcast powered by Expedia. Leveraging their global leadership in the travel space, JAR has created an entertaining podcast offering travel information and ideas so listeners can learn and get inspired. The show swaps tips with travel experts and industry insiders, as well as guests with great travel stories to share. “The team at Expedia saw an opportunity for their customers to engage with the brand on a different level. Who better to help travelers navigate the travel world?” says Nairn.

The other new project is Hello Movies, by Cineplex Entertainment. Cineplex, a top-tier Canadian brand that operates in the Film Entertainment and Content, Amusement and Leisure, and Media sectors, and welcomes over 70 million guests through its theatres and entertainment spaces every year. Hello Movies is a podcast by movie lovers, for movie lovers. “We’re getting movie fans closer to the new and exciting films coming out on the big screen,'' says Nairn. Every two weeks, host Natasha Gargiulo and guests offer up ideas and insights about the two top movies playing in theatres. Sneak peeks, insider info, and cinema trivia.

With the addition of these new projects, plus much more on the horizon, JAR is looking to add more audio experts to their team. Freelance producers, writers and sound experts are encouraged to visit JARAudio.com and connect with us. “There’s a lot of exciting things coming up and we want to build out the team that’s going to make them amazing”, says Nairn.
