Initial Group Acquires Silver Tribe Media, Forms Initial Digital

Initial Group, the TPG-backed global entertainment company, has acquired Silver Tribe Media, the premier digital media management andproduction company shaping the next generation of sports, news, and entertainment content. With the acquisition, Silver Tribe will rebrand as Initial Digital, becoming the first operating division to carry the Initial name and adding multichannel digital expertise to the platform—capabilities essential to all media brands and voices. This acquisition furthers Initial Group’s mission to be the preeminent partner to visionary representatives and generational talent shaping culture and commerce. 

Silver Tribe was founded in 2021 by Michael Klein, CEO, and Jack Rose, COO, who first met while working in CAA’s Sports Media Group. The company has since built industry-definingmedia properties, podcasts, YouTube channels, and more, helping clients build, monetize, and grow their brands and owned media ventures.

Silver Tribe’s clients include Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions, Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Studios, Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s Dirty Mo Media, Colin Cowherd’s The Volume, Krystal Ball & Saagar Enjeti’s Breaking Points, and more. Through integrated management, strategic counsel, digital production, and audience development, Silver Tribe helps clients launch direct-to-consumer media companies, scale multi-show podcast networks, and expand their businesses through content acquisitions and talent partnerships. 

As Initial Digital, the Silver Tribe team will continue this work with expanded resources, deeper operational support, and new partnership opportunities across Initial Group’s ecosystem. 

Under the Initial umbrella, Michael Klein will serve as President, Initial Digital; Jack Rose as COO, Initial Digital; and Jen Simons as Chief Content Officer, Initial Digital, with their teams continuing in their existing roles. Initial Digital will operate as a separate yet adjacent division to Untitled, both housed within the Initial Group platform.
