Indigenous House and Little Bear Audio Launch The Indigenous Setlist

Press Release · Boulder CO, United States ·

Indigenous House, the new digital media platform celebrating Indigenous voices and creators led by Founder Crystal Echo Hawk (Pawnee) and Jade Begay (Tesuque Pueblo/Diné), and Little Bear Audio, the award-winning post-production studio led by audio engineer Ian Sorrentino, announced the launch of The Indigenous Setlist. Premiering on June 22, the podcast and video series explores how modern Native and Indigenous artists are redefining genres and creating today’s most electrifying music.

The Indigenous Setlist will take listeners on a genre-spanning journey into the artists, influences, and sounds powering contemporary Indigenous music — from hip-hop and alternative rock to electronic dance, country, folk, and beyond. Featuring Juno Award winners, artists whose music is featured on today’s biggest film and TV soundtracks, and some of the hottest acts breaking now, each weekly episode is a discovery engine for music lovers inside the beats, the bands, and the stories defining some of the most exciting music today.

“The artists featured in season one are scoring some of the most popular series streaming now, signing to major record labels, climbing the charts, and headlining some of the biggest music festivals around the country,” says Indigenous House Founder Crystal Echo Hawk. “These artists aren’t waiting for permission - they are pushing boundaries, blending their own personal stories and lived experiences with new and innovative sounds that are looking towards the future and reshaping the modern music landscape. I’m so excited that The Indigenous Setlist will serve as a platform to both discover what’s next and go behind the scenes to hear more from this incredible lineup of artists, showcasing their rich cultural histories, raw talent, and captivating sounds. The story isn’t that Indigenous music is having a moment — it’s that the moment is everywhere, and this show is the front-row seat.”

The inaugural season features a diverse roster of trailblazers and visionaries.
